Virtual Math & Dance Workshop April 11th

This 2-hour workshop will focus on 6 introductory lessons. Each lesson establishes fundamental elements of the Dance Equations program. After this workshop, you will have clear ideas of how math and dance connect. You will walk away with new lesson ideas. Participants will be given the opportunity to join the Dance Equations Delux online course at a discount. There is no dance experience necessary but please come prepared to move. You will need comfortable clothing, a pen and paper for note-taking, and space around your computer to dance (desktop or laptop works best). This class is suitable for school teachers, professionals who teach teachers, and homeschool parents and groups. It is not grade-focused, Miranda demonstrates the spectrum of math dance education and focuses on dance as an effective tool to teach mathematics.
